The True Miracle of Christmas

"Isn't He Beautiful: The true miracle of Christmas" was our first work. It took roughly nine years to finish this labor of love. Katherine came up with a wonderful theme of a modern day coffee shop to bridge the biblical past with present day. Santa Claus is also invited to the play by a little girl (Jaunna) who wants to see him in heaven someday. The principle actors portray two good friends from childhood (one who is born again, and the other who is a seeker) that meet for coffee during the business of the holiday season. The birth of Jesus, and all of the miracles leading up to this wonderful event are revealed in this fresh new Christmas Cantata. This musical ends with one principle actor receiving Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
    The songs and their melodies (written by Steven Brown) were inspired by the Word of God, and each personality of the people chosen by Him to fulfill the ultimate miracle of all; the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ.
    The part of Mary and Holly was played by Cara Rudd, then fourteen year old accomplished singer and actress known for her parts at The 5th Avenue Theatre. Cara has performed in "The Wizard of Oz", "The Secret Garden", "A Little Night Music", "Annie", "Love Letters", "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Sound of Music", and "A Christmas Carol."
    Isn't He Beautiful Christmas Cantata is now available to the body of Christ and can be requested for the Christmas season.
